Easton is now two months old. He is a joy in our home. None of us can get enough Easton. On Tuesday he had his two month check-up. He weighed in at 11 lbs. 12 oz. and is 23 and 1/2 inches long. He now smiles and coos at us. He is starting to sleep at night for about 7-8 hours. It is so awesome!

The Loves of my life
At family scripture last night we talked about how when we have true joy in our lives we want to share that with others. We discussed an ancient prophet from the Book of Mormon named Lehi who had the most desireable fruit (or joy). Once he had that experience he immediately looked around to see where his family was to share it with them. When we have the best of days or the worst of days the people we want around us and to share those emotions with are our family. We discussed how blessed we are that our very best friends live right here in our own home. I know that the best times I have are with my Mr. Hamilton and my kids. And when I struggle they are who stand beside and help to carry me through.

I can see!
At the end of January we got a letter from Dallin's school that told us Dallin had to have his eyes checked out. So off we went to the eye doctor and sure enough Dallin really needed glasses. I felt terrible, but the doctor reassured us that it was typical for the parents to not know. Dallin just figured that was how you saw things, and that there wasn't anything different about how he sees verses how others see. His glasses arrived in the middle of February. The glasses have been amazing. Dallin loves what he sees! He can't believe all the things he has been missing.
One Month Old
Here are some pictures we've taken of Easton in the last couple of weeks. It seems with my other boys the first 4-6 weeks kind of dragged on, but with Easton the weeks have gone very quickly. He'll be 5 weeks on Saturday.
Little Man Turns 9
Mason had his 9th birthday a couple of weeks ago! We celebrated as a family with dinner at Panera, dessert from Cheesecake Factory, presents, and a trip to Mason's favorite park! It was a great time together as a family.
Mason is a great kid! He is really developing a sense of humor (and uses sarcarsm quite well too). It is so much fun to really have conversations with your kids. He loves music and is an amazing piano player. I am in awe of his natural talent.
I know that Mason loves his brothers and watches out for them. He is so good with Easton and helps me out a lot with Easton. It has been a joy to watch Mason hold and protect his little baby brother.
Mason your amazing!
