On our way out we ate bananas that the owner had just cut off the tree 1 minute before we ate them. And look Mason got a twin. Two bananas in one skin!
At the quarry there are hundreds of moais in process of transport. They left them where they were when they stopped making them. The weather and elements have knocked many of them over. And most still standing have much of them under the earth that has collected around them.
These ones are in process, being cut out of the stone.

This is the only moai on the island in a kneeling position.

The middle of the quarry hill is a crater, which now looks like a lake. These guys are near the crater.
