More Colorado

So on I go (still way behind, but determined to catch up). We spent the next week and a half in Colorado with Mark joining us for the last three days (and they were packed). We spent lots of time with cousins doing things like playing in backyards, swimming at the YMCA, meeting at parks, going to the zoo, hitting the fountain park, eating out at all the American restaurants we missed, and going to Cripple Creek.

This giraffe came right in time for a picture.  Though my nephew wasn't quite sure it was OK to be so close.

 This picture cracks me up...
There was lots of cuddling the littles.

We went to cripple creek with my younger brother's family.  It is a mining town that was booming 100 years ago, and still has one of the biggest operating gold mines in the US.  We rode the train and visited the jail museum.
