On a gorgeous fall day, the first Saturday in May, we headed to the Santa Cruz area of Chile (about 2 hours south and a little due west) to celebrate harvest with a little grape stomping. It was so beautiful and we got to spend it with some great friends. We loved every second of our day. The drive was beautiful and clear due to some precipitation that left snow up on the mountains. The leaves were in full fall colors and the grapes were ready to pick.

The adults sampled wine right out of the vats (not Mark and I of course), while the kids got to sample what would become wine, but at this point is simply juice.
After grape stomping we made our way down the road to another beautiful vineyard with a charming restaurant with great views and a playground in the middle of the vineyard for the kids.

Easton fell in the mud and refused all alternate shirts offered him, so no shirt at the restaurant.
